I have been seeing reactions condemning the United States Supreme Court in overturning Roe v. Wade. Take note of the following.
First: The SCOTUS did NOT ban abortion. Read the decision!
Second: The decision reminded us that the ones that SHOULD BE enacting abortion laws are the States and the political branches of the government.
Third: SCOTUS and other judicial courts are NOT policy makers and NOT political branches of the government. They maybe politicized but that is another story.
Fourth: Abortion is NOT a Constitutional right BUT a statutory right in States allowing it. Read your constitution. Study how the Constitution, specifically the provisions used in Roe v. Wade to provide legal anchors to the supposed constitutionality of abortion.
Fifth: The best example of political branches of the government are State Legislature, State Governors, US. Congress and the Office of the President of the United States of America
Sixth: After Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973, there were times in American history that Democrats CONTROLLED BOTH Congress and the White House, but did NOT codify the doctrine laid in Roe v. Wade. Had the Democrats did their job, abortion should have been at least a statutory right in all states.
Seventh: Except in cases of rape, pregnancies are products of CONSENSUAL acts between a man and a woman. Now in case of artificial insemination, woman still needs a something from a man to get pregnant. UNLESS its a case of rape, Do NOT say that Men have no say in abortion because they do not have uterus.
Eight: If you want abortion law to be passed by legislatures and congress, you need the majority of their members to approved the proposed abortion bill. About half of the legislators are Men, so you would need them to vote with women and you would need to get their opinions for the bill to pass. Meaning, you CANNOT argue the "no uterus no opinion" thing on abortion issues.
There is a trend called MGTOW, I think this is something in which Feminists and Conservative can unite. Many MGTOW wrongfully think women are drugs not because they're addicting but because they're pricey and ruin lives.
Next time you hear the Progressive Caucus and woke warriors whining that the system is “rigged for white people”, show them the chart released by Republican Security Council FB page. The chart is about household median income per race group.
They are wrong, America is not "systemically racist,” and income is not "rigged" for any group of people. The United States is clearly the land of opportunity for those who work the hardest.
Asians Americans are understandably proud of their success and their families often prioritize education, discipline, and a strong work ethic. Moving to America didn't diminish the ingrained values of several generations.
